Questions and answers regarding our Group Leader Program.

WHAT IS A TOUR CONDUCTOR?  The Tour Conductor is the person setting up and escorting the group. To compensate you for bringing the group together, we will award you the FREE Tour Conductor cabin. You will pay for the cabin up front, and the cost of the cabin is refunded to you after the sailing. You may keep this yourself, or divide it equally among your group. It is your decision.

HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN OCCUPY MY FREE CABIN?  The free Tour Conductor Cabin is for one person. Additional passengers in the cabin will pay the normal reduced group rate. The number of FREE Tour Conductor cabins is based on the number of cabins sold. For instance if you sell 8 cabins, one is free, or if you sell 16 cabins, your companion can also cruise for FREE.

WHAT KIND OF CABIN WILL I HAVE?  You will book your cabin in the category you desire. The FREE Tour Conductor is based on the most cabins sold in any one category. If you sell the most cabins in a balcony category, your refund will be based on the cost of the cabin in that category.

WHO PAYS THE PORT CHARGES AND TAXES?  You will pay the applicable port charges and taxes for your cabin.

WHAT ARE THE GROUP LEADER RESPONSIBILITIES?
1. You will choose a cruise or land package for your group.
2. You will select the dates for your groups travel.
3. You will contact Over the Rainbow Cruises to review and agree on prices for the trip.
4. You will distribute flyers (provided by the agency) to your group and promote the trip.
5. You will supply the names and deposits for the group to Over the Rainbow Cruises.
6. You may arrange a meeting, if necessary, with the group and the travel agent, to distribute their tickets, and review all documents.
7. You will escort your group on the trip. If you group is large enough, we will also escort your group, to assist you with any details.

WHAT WILL OVER THE RAINBOW CRUISES PROVIDE FOR ME?
We will provide brochures, flyers, and registration forms. We will do all of the invoicing and paperwork, and process all payments for you. You do not need to handle any money. We will negotiate special amenities for your group. These can include cocktail parties, onboard credits, group photos, complimentary wine in cabins, and more. We will answer all passenger questions, and cover all postage. We do it all for you. You only bring us the group!

HOW DO YOU TRACK MY GROUP?  We will assign you a special group number, which is identified on each invoice, and on the registration forms. As each passenger is booked into your group, we will notify you of your progress.

HOW DO I GET STARTED?  Call us at Over the Rainbow Cruises. We will help you choose a cruise line, an itinerary, a ship and sailing date. Or, if you prefer, a land package for your group, we can do that too! Your only job is to decide what you want for your group. We will do the rest!
