VISAS: All travelers to Egypt must have a visa. Those traveling with USA or Canada passports can obtain theirs on arrival at Cairo. No photos, no forms and cost is about $18. Travelers with other passports should check with us whether you need one before arrival. | | Day 2 | Cairo | (Tuesday) A full day tour of Memphis, the ancient capital, Sakkarra with it's famous Stepped Pyramid and Dahshur with it's famous Bent and Red Pyramids plus the new Imhotep museum. Overnight Cairo (B) | | Day 3 | Cairo | (Wednesday) Tour of the Giza plateau where you will marvel at the seventh wonder of the world, the Great Pyramid. Stare into the face of the inscrutable Sphinx. Overnight Cairo (B) | | Day 4 | Cairo | (Thursday) Enjoy a visit to the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities, featuring King Tut's treasures. Then visit the famous Khan el Khalili bazaar where travelers have been finding bargains since the middle ages. Overnight Cairo (B) | | Day 5 | Alexandria | (Friday) Depart Cairo by air-conditioned coach for Alexandria. The city Alexander the Great built and Cleopatra made famous. Arriving enjoy the comfort of the beautiful Renaissance Alexandria Hotel right on the shore of the Mediterranean Sea. Overnight Alexandria (B) | | Day 6 | Cairo | (Saturday) Tour Alexandria including the Greco-Roman sites, the museums and the new world famous library. Return to Cairo in the evening and the comfort of the Fairmont Heliopolis hotel. (B) | | Day 7 | Luxor | (Sunday) Staff transfers you to the airport, assists with checking in and you fly to Luxor. Arriving staff transfers you to the Sonesta St. George hotel where you will have a Nile view room. Overnight Luxor (B) | | Day 8 | Edfu | (Monday) Buffet breakfast, check out of the hotel, visit the West Bank's Necropolis of Thebes featuring the Valley of the Kings, Queen Hatshepsut's Temple and the Colossi of Memnon. Return to the East Bank to board your 5 star Deluxe Nile cruiser, the Queen of Hansa. Ship features include panoramic opening floor to ceiling windows, large cabins, T.V./video/radio, private baths and individual climate control. Lunch, then visit Luxor and Karnak Temples. Watch the sunset over the Necropolis of Thebes while enjoying dinner. Evening entertainment. Overnight Luxor (B at the hotel, L,D on the ship)

Dinner and evening entertainment. Overnight Aswan (B,L,D) | | Day 11 | Aswan | (Thursday) Visit the Temple of Philae, the Pharaohs Granite quarries featuring the Unfinished Obelisk and the High Dam. FREE BONUS: Afternoon visit to the Botanical Gardens traveling by Felucca (native sailboat). These are wind powered only so if there is no wind this will not operate. Dinner and evening entertainment. Overnight Aswan (B,L,D) | | Day 12 | Cairo | (Friday) Disembark the cruise after your buffet breakfast. NOTE: optional tour to visit the famous temples of Ramses at Abu Simbel this morning. Single Price is for Single occupancy hotel rooms and cruise cabins based on a minimum of two travelers. Single travelers (one person on the tour) would have additional cost.
FREQUENT TRAVELERS: You are welcome to arrange your own international air or we can assist. Also if you are a member of any hotel chain frequent traveler program you are welcome to use your points for hotel rooms and the cost of the tour will be reduced accordingly OR if you want to accumulate points plus take advantage of membership hotel room upgrades let us know which program you want to use.
