Day 01: After your buffet breakfast at the hotel depart Cairo by air-conditioned coach for Alexandria, the city Alexander the great built and Cleopatra made famous. Visit the Greco-Roman sites including the Catacombs, the amphitheater, Pompey's Pillar and the Greco-Roman Museum. Spend the evening at the Sheraton Montazah Hotel. Overnight Alexandria (B)

Day 02: Breakfast then continue your tour of Alexandria including time to enjoy the new Library and the brand new Alexandrian museum before returning to Cairo and the comfort of the Sonesta Hotel. Overnight Cairo (B)

Day 03: If you have selected this extension as a pre-tour you will join the rest of your tour group today. If you have chosen this as a post-tour program, with international departure scheduled for today staff will transfer you to the airport, assist with exit formalities and checking in for your departure.

TOUR INCLUDES: GUARANTEED TO OPERATE. All transfers by air-conditioned vehicle relating to the tour program starting with departure from Cairo. Baggage handling of no more than 2 pieces of luggage per person however baggage and personal effects are at the owner's risk at all time during the tour. Hotels (based on double occupancy). Meals as outlined by B for breakfast, L for lunch and D for dinner. Fees for visiting antiquity sites and museums. Services of an English speaking licensed Egyptologist. Service charges and taxes.

NOT included are: Items of a personal nature such as tips, entry visa (available at the airport on entry for USA citizens. Other nationalities should check with the nearest Egyptian consulate), phone calls, laundry, drinks with meals, any items not specifically covered in the included items.

Single Price is for Single occupancy hotel rooms and cruise cabins based on a minimum of two travelers. Single travelers (one person on the tour) would have additional cost.

Holiday Note: Most hotels in Egypt have mandatory Christmas and New Years dinners. These can range from $70 per person to $150. These dinners are NOT included in the price as the cost will be published by the hotels until the late fall.
